If desired operation is not within the range of factory default settings, platen height, viscosity setting, fan timing, and auto prime timing can be adjusted.
1. Adjusting Platen Height
The Platen height can be adjusted to set the desired amount on the shirt.
Raising the platen will bring the spray edge in towards the middle of the shirt, minimizing the over spray on the inside of the machine.
Lowering the platen will bring the spray edge out allowing for a crisp edge. This may result in more over spray on the inside of the machine.
1. Locate the 4 thumb nuts under the platen drawer.
2. To lower the platen, press the platen down and twist each of the 4 thumb nuts.
3. To raise the platen, twist each of the 4 thumb nuts in the opposite direction.
2. Adjusting Viscosity
The Viscosity of the pretreat varies from one manufacturer to another. The level meters may be inaccurate if the correct viscosity isn't set.
If the level meter is empty before the pretreat container is empty, lower the viscosity.
If the level meter is empty after the pretreat container is empty, raise the viscosity.
1. Enter the Stats Menu by pressing the Stats Menu icon.
2. Press the “Cost/Shirt” text.
3. Move the slider to adjust the viscosity to the desired amount. (The cost/shirt amount will change depending on the viscosity setting)
3. Adjusting Fan Timing
The Fan stays on after a spray cycle for a specific amount of time. This timing can be adjusted to allow the fan to stay on longer or shorter periods of time after the spray cycle.
1. Enter the Maintenance Menu by pressing the Maintenance Menu icon.
2. Press the Adjust Button to open the Adjustments Settings Menu.
3. Move the FAN slider or press the increment/decrement to the desired setting
4. Adjusting Auto Prime Timing
The Auto Prime Timing is predetermined by a specific amount of time.
If the pretreat lines are not clear by the end of the AUTO prime cycle, raise the Auto prime timing.
1. Enter the Maintenance Menu by pressing the Maintenance Menu icon.
2. Press the Adjust Button to open the Adjustments Settings Menu.
3. Move the AUTO slider or press the increment/decrement to the desired setting
