How do you fix an error 206 on a SWF embroidery machine?

A. The wiper is the metal thing that grabs the top thread after a trim and puts it between the velcro strips. If you look behind the needle case on the left side, you'll see a curved track with a nylon block that rides in the track and a thin metal bar that attaches to the block. Move that block up and down the track and you'll see the wiper poke in and out of the velcro.

At the very top of the track is a small switch that is activated when the block is at the top, fully retracted from the velcro. If it doesn't hit that switch, the machine will stop and return the error. You don't want the needle to hit the wiper, so it's a good thing to clear the error. The wiper can get hung up if the thread doesn't trim, the wiper gets bent and doesn't slide smoothly between the velcro, or the screw loosens too far and the block doesn't move smoothly, or falls off completely.
