Information on VersaSTUDIO Ink Consumption

Dealers and users of the VersaSTUDIO BY-20 have been noticing more lately an increase of white ink usage during the initial ink fill compared to older Roland DTF models. The cause of this is the new white ink delivery system in the BY-20 specifically, as well as new recirculating and choke systems that improves reliability and the density of the white ink. The BY-20 uses around 60-65% of the starter cartridge to fill the lines in the new printer.
With this in mind, we are including an additional white ink cartridge for the BY-20 complete package. This way this will ensure that you have enough ink to fill the lines and have enough white ink so you can hit the ground running and get right into printing.
